hmm seems kinda weird how ur workin out but i trust in ya u’ve been doin it alot longer than i have lol. but how do those weighted balls u were workin with in help u get fitter? is it for cardio or strength?

  2. mitrionematt says:

It depends on the time frame that you are working in and which exercise you are thinking of. If you do them for a prolonged period then it becomes cardio and work capacity but if you do it for short bursts than it is for top end power. It is all based off of the energy systems that your body uses. There was a pretty solid mix of energy systems used in this video. A lot of what I know is designed for top end power and as a result I have to alter it to tap in to my work capacity/lactic threshold.

Hey Mat when i work at a 170 hrpm i can preety much work for 30 minutes without stoping, i do pretty much what you’re doing here but with 17lb blocks. does pressing the speed help with strength also? or does it just benefit my cardio?

  5. mitrionematt says:

Just cardio my brother. But it increases your work capacity (lactic threshold). Going at 170 bpm is impressive at that time. Well done

Thanks 4 the info. I think alot of people specially haters are in for a big surprise when you run kimbo over. keep at it I’m certain you will be in contender status by the beginning of next year.
